Scope of work: Replacement of a vinyl bulkhead with 100' of steel sheet piling, plus installation of a floating courtesy dock, a stone revetment, and a stone dust walkway. Additionally, 500 cubic yards of sediment were dredged from the front of the bulkhead to provide sufficient water depth for pleasure boats.
This project is part of New York's "Canal Corridor Initiative", a program to develop the historic Erie Canal into a major tourist and recreation facility.
