THOMAS CREEK WETLAND WALK

Scope of work: Construction of a pond, a 520' long pile-supported wooden boardwalk with scenic overlook, a stone dust pathway, and landscaping.

A total of 118 timber piles 9" in diameter and varying in length from 16' to 25' were vibrated into soft marshland using an hydraulic excavator. This approach allowed for minimal disturbance to the environmentally sensitive area.
